Job Description:
Provides exploitation of foreign language content from captured, seized, or otherwise acquired digital media and documents. Provides support for operational and translation responsibilities. Scope includes triage of digital media and documents, screening and gisting of documents and files, translation of audio and written materials, and reporting and dissemination of exploitation results.
Language Proficiency Requirements:
- ILR 3 in Reading and Listening
- ILR 3 in English writing (a degree from a US institution meets this requirement)
Primary Job Location:
Bethesda, Maryland
Optional Relocation:
The first 2-3 months of employment have to be done at the Bethesda, MD location for training purposes. After that, if an employee would like to work at one of the Joint Reserve Intel Center (JRIC) the following sites are available; Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, New Jersey, Maryland (Fort Meade), Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Texas, and Utah.
